Alla base di questa canna, St. Croix ha utilizzato un materiale migliorato per la struttura del grezzo SCIII+, una composizione sviluppata attraverso la combinazione di carbonio SCIII ad alto modulo e super-alto modulo SCVI exotic.
Percentuali esclusive, posizionamenti e combinazioni di entrambi i materiali sono stati combinati per creare questa nuova struttura SCIII+, risultando in una canna più leggera, sensibile e con un equilibrio migliorato e una maggiore durabilità.
Le nuove impugnature di sughero agglomerato non solo hanno un aspetto accattivante ma offrono anche una forma più densa e di più semplice manutenzione rispetto al sughero standard, il tutto senza aumentare in modo apprezzabile il peso.
Eventuali urti, graffi e segni dovuti all'uso, come l'entrata ed uscita dai supporti per canne e l'usura generale, sono mitigati, mantenendo la canna non solo dal punto di vista estetico ma anche in modo confortevole in mano.
