Da quando è apparso nella serie Korda Underwater girata a Norton Disney, il fermento attorno a questi pesetti Shot On The Hook è stato immenso e c'è stata una forte rinascita sull'uso di questo rig dal lancio del film.

Lo Shot On The Hook migliora il potenziale di allamata di qualsiasi presentazione wafter, affondante o snowman, creando essenzialmente una punta più pesante che consente all'amo di girarsi, garantendo una tenuta rapida ed efficiente e trasformando più abboccate in allamate.

Questi pesetti sono realizzati in tungsteno puro, che offre un eccezionale rapporto densità/volume.
Questo tungsteno puro ad alta densità ci ha permesso di ottenere un peso considerevole utilizzando un minimo di materiale, creando uno Shot On The Hook compatto ma opportunamente calibrato.

Questo piombo di tungsteno puro riutilizzabile può essere utilizzato più e più volte.
È dotato di una piccola sagomatura in gomma che si adatta alla punta dell'amo per fissarlo in posizione.
Quando è il momento di cambiare amo, è sufficiente farlo scorrere via se si utilizzano ami senza ardiglione, oppure, se si utilizzano ami con ardiglione, schiacciare prima l'ardiglione prima di rimuoverlo.

Oscar Brugger: "Come scegliere la giusta misura dello Shot On The Hook? Più leggera è l'esca, minore sarà la forza che la carpa userà per aspirarla.
Per questo consiglio la versione piccola da 0.3 g per ami di misura 8, 6 e 4 con esche affondanti e bilanciate fino a 14/15 mm.
Per esche leggermente più grandi, intorno ai 18-20mm e con ami di misura 4, la mia scelta ricade sullo Shot On The Hook da 0.4 g.
Invece per inneschi grandi da 24-30 mm con ami del 2 consiglio la versione da 0.5 g.”
